Building the Stack for an Urban Resort

The Situation
Coda had just completed its renovation and rebrand as an Urban Resort when Commerandi was brought in. The concept created real operational complexity — corporate travelers, leisure guests, condo owners from the adjacent building, local partnership activations, and multiple F&B outlets all running through the same property. The existing stack couldn't support it: no clean segmentation across guest types, no actionable data for the revenue team, and no foundation for the marketing and retention work the rebrand required.
What We Did
- Directed a full PMS and RMS implementation built around Coda's actual guest mix — not a generic hotel template — covering multi-segment operations, condo owner accounts, and F&B outlet integration.
- Configured the RMS to Coda's demand mix and competitive environment in a high-noise Brooklyn market with multiple lifestyle hotel openings during the same period.
- Developed marketing partnerships to build brand awareness in the Brooklyn market and create a guest retention foundation beyond the first visit — designed to work alongside the new stack from the start.
